At the Rhinettes, we believe that dance is for everyone, and we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community where all are welcome to express themselves freely. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just beginning to explore the world of dance and performance art, the Rhinettes offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you can grow and thrive.

MISS MONROE

Partner

Miss Monroe, also known as Ashley Morgan Monroe, is a dynamic performer who began her journey in tap dancing at the age of three. Originally from the Bay Area and shaped by her experiences in Brooklyn, she now resides in Denver where she inspires others as a Pilates instructor by day and a burlesque artist by night. Standing at 5'2", this petite powerhouse is passionate about empowering her students and clients, believing that burlesque truly is for everyone.

GEORGIA MAY WAKE

Partner

A dedicated dancer since the age of three, Holly Herrin, also known as Georgia May Wake, began teaching at eleven and has enjoyed performing across the country in various styles, particularly contemporary and lyrical. She founded The Rhinettes, an inclusive community where adult dancers can discover and reconnect with their love for movement, firmly believing that every BODY is a dancer's body. Driven by a passion for making a positive impact, she strives to enhance the lives of others through her teaching, nonprofit work, and performance, all while sharing her love for animals and the outdoors.

LA POMME DETERRE

With a background in gymnastics and musical theater during her childhood, La Pomme Deterre holds an associate's degree in Dance Performance and has studied nearly every dance style, now entering her third year as a burlesque performer. The Rhinettes represent family, acceptance, and growth for her, providing a space where she can express herself and feel her best, even on challenging days. Born and raised in Colorado, La Pomme is a warm and affectionate person who loves spicy food, embraces the duality of being sexy and funny, and believes in the power of dance as a universal form of communication that connects people.

ANA PEDESTAL

Dancer

Meet Tiffany Marshall, also known as Ana Pedestal, a multi-talented performer who thrives on the stage. From a young age, her passion for entertaining led her to explore various dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre. However, she has also ventured into the realms of Heels, Burlesque, Aerial arts, and choreography. Currently, Ana is an active member of The Rhinettes and Team EZ, showcasing her skills and captivating audiences.

MISS GINJA

Dancer

Miss Ginja began her dance journey in tap, ballet, and jazz as a toddler, later joining her high school dance team and continuing to take classes and workshops before stepping into the world of burlesque in 2019. The Rhinette‘s community holds a special place in her heart, offering a space for creativity, collaboration on choreography and costumes, and daily laughter in a supportive and inspiring environment. Outside of dancing, Ginja enjoys lifting weights, riding her bike, and embarking on adventures with friends, often dancing along the way!

VIXEN VON NESSA

Dancer

A dancer since childhood, Vixen Von Nessa studied modern and jazz in college with an emphasis on choreography and has taught students aged 3 to 65 for many years, recently expanding her interests to include dance therapy and somatic healing modalities. Her favorite style is jazz funk, and she cherishes her time as a Rhinette, where the dance troupe has provided her with friendship, fun, and a sense of belonging while allowing for authentic self-expression. Outside of dance, Vixen enjoys yoga, cooking, traveling, and indulging in cheesy action movies.

DEVYN DELUXX

Dancer

In the past year, Devyn Deluxx have immersed themselves in dance classes after having a background in competitive cheerleading as a teenager. Excited to be a part of the Rhinettes, they appreciate the opportunity to deepen their dance knowledge and explore various forms of self-expression while collaborating with fellow dance enthusiasts. Outside of dance, Devyn enjoys watching reality TV, rock climbing, and backpacking.

KENNY G

Dancer

Dancing since the age of three, Kenny G has explored various styles including jazz, contemporary, tap, musical theater, modern, and flamenco, with a primary focus on ballet, and she competed for seven years while earning a minor in dance from CU Boulder. While she is new to the Rhinette’s, she is thrilled to have found a community of fellow dance enthusiasts, enjoying the joy of performing alongside others who share her passion. Dance has always been Kenny G’s source of peace amidst chaos, allowing her to feel strong and appreciate her body's capabilities; she also has a unique background as a former zipline guide and is fluent in ASL, with hopes of integrating the language into future performances for accessibility.

LADY ELECTRA

Dancer

Starting her dance journey at the age of six, Lady Electra trained in ballet, tap, and jazz for four years before transitioning to cheerleading in high school, where she served as captain during her senior year. After two years on her college dance team focusing on hip hop, she discovered her passion for classes at Tease Studio, such as Bass Babes, Heels and Hairflips, and Burlesque, which ultimately led her to join the Rhinettes. Embracing the therapeutic aspects of dance, Electra finds joy in self-expression and confidence within a supportive community of women, all while staying fit and exploring her artistic side through painting and crafts like wood burning, as well as enjoying the outdoors and live music.

LULU BELL

Lead Choreographer Dancer

A passionate dancer since the age of three, Lulu Bell has extensive experience in various styles, including jazz, contemporary/lyrical, tap, hip hop, and ballet, and competed on her high school's Poms team, where they placed 7th in the nation for jazz at Disney World. After earning a minor in dance in college, Lulu ventured into burlesque in 2022 and found a welcoming community with the Rhinettes, which has helped her rediscover the artistry of dance and build lasting friendships. Balancing her artistic pursuits with a career as a full-time surgical trauma ICU nurse, Lulu embraces her dual passions and continues to grow as a performer and lifelong learner in her home state of Colorado.

JEANE SAI WHAA

Jeane Sai Whaa? is a Denver-based burlesque performer known for incorporating comedy into their acts while valuing the integrity of burlesque and pushing artistic boundaries through collaborative choreography. Currently a dancer with the Rhinette's, Jeane has showcased their talent at events such as the Mile High Burlesque Festival, the Colorado Burlesque Festival, and the infamous Denver Clock Tower. With a passion for both performance and creativity, Jeane continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of humor and artistry.

TUFT TEATEAZE

Dancer

Beginning her dance journey before the age of five, Tuft Teateaze explored a variety of styles, including ballet, Croatian folk, jazz, belly dance, and hip hop, before discovering her passion for burlesque in 2012. Dancing with the Rhinette’s has been a transformative experience, providing her with a supportive environment that has fostered her growth as both a dancer and an individual, allowing her to express herself creatively, build lasting relationships, and uncover new strengths. An avid sewer since the age of ten, Tuft enjoys designing and creating costumes for herself and others, embracing the community, calisthenics, and creativity that dance brings into her life.

SADIE PALISADE

Starting their dance journey at a young age, Sadie Palisade immersed themselves in lyrical, jazz, and hip hop classes before earning a minor in dance and somatic movement at Knox College. After graduating in 2022, Sadie shifted their focus to burlesque but retain a deep appreciation for the modern movements they explored in college; nothing excites them more than performing jazz pieces. Being a Rhinette has become increasingly meaningful, providing them with a community of passionate individuals that celebrates their bodies and offers unwavering support, while dance serves as their connection to mind, body, and spirit; Sadie also holds a degree in Gender and Women's Studies, enjoy discussing influential scholars like Patricia Hill Collins and Audre Lorde, and love creating art—often switching mediums—while aspiring to merge their choreography with their artistic installations.

SPARROW SPITFIRE

Dancer

Sparrow Spitfire started dancing ballet, jazz, and gymnastics at around 4-5 years old. Although she stopped taking formal classes at 18, she continued dancing for fun and fitness before beginning her burlesque journey in 2015, becoming a troupe member for Punk Rock Burlesque and Ooh La La Presents. The Rhinette’s have welcomed her wholeheartedly into the company this season, providing an opportunity to create art, stay active, and enhance her skills as a dancer and performer alongside a wonderful group of strong, inspiring, and goofy individuals, all while dancing to express themselves and build confidence in her body. As a Rhinette newbie, Sparrow is thrilled to perform with this talented group!
